Damjan Bobek is Head of Telecommunications at Elektro Celje, responsible for the development and management of advanced communication and information systems. He leads projects in optical and IP/MPLS networks, radio communications, contact center solutions, and wireless networks.​

​Recently, he has been focusing on cybersecurity and information security, particularly on implementing advanced security solutions in IT/OT environments. He also leads the telecommunications working group within GIZ DEE and actively participates in national and EU projects in the fields of digitalization and smart grids and critical infrastructure resilience.
