Precision Time Protocol (PTP) for Digital Substations

PTP accuracy is critical to power utilities, especially for digital substations. Supporting PTP over WAN and PTP power profile (for IEDs and merging sensors) are two key design topics. In this demo, we will showcase advanced PTP delivery over DWDM, utilizing a dedicated lambda, alongside the PTP telecom-to-power profile interworking function introduced by the Nokia substation router.

Operating NSP with Large Language Model (LLM)

In addition to operating the Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) via the graphical user interface (GUI), this demo introduces a novel approach: using a Large Language Model (LLM). For utilities interested in building proprietary LLMs to operate and automate networks with AI tools, this demonstration illustrates how this capability can be achieved.

Zero-Touch Security – Automating Trust in Industrial OT Networks

To eliminate “trust-gaps” in utility OT infrastructure is essential. In this demo, we will show how threat actors exploit weak communication protocols and how Nokia’s automated digital certificate solution secures the network against these vulnerabilities. See the full lifecycle in action – from automated enrolment and deployment to real-time security monitoring via our PKI interface.
